    Ghetto Style
Use your cell phone video camera. Don't count on being able to clearly see who is killing who on the right side of the screen, but it's good for catching glitchers or just general action. :swordfight:

    Better than Ghetto
A real camcorder/flip video etc. Set it up on a table/chair in front of the tv while you play. Gets better image and you can see most of the text.

For you richer folks and technology savvy
You have to connect the ps3 to the tv and the tv to a recording device.

Some people use DVDR (dvd recording devices) and some people hook it up directly to their laptop if it can support that. Post what laptop you have and model (or a picture of all 4 sides) and I'll let you know what to buy. You also need to tell me if you have and HDMI TV or RCA (old tvs).

Well I use my dell computer monitor with HDMI as a screen for my Ps3.. (HDMI-Ps3 to DVI-PCscreen adapter)

Great resolution and video quality but that leaves me with a difficulty in finding a way to record high quality videos with that setup and without the use of a camera positioned in-front of my computer screen..

Any suggestions? Considering just using my HDMI TV in the other room and buying a video cap device but I like playing with my pc screen better lol, crystal clear image.

lol there is a cheaper alternative to the Hauppage HD PVR but it's not by much. You could probably snag a used one on ebay. I'm sticking to my SD video quality for now :( I wish I could have my PC capture what's on a second monitor...

And due to the bumping I've updated for HD PVR lol

    Persht

you should prolly update this by listing out what equipment you are currently using with :snaphappy: photos of your setup!

don't want them to get too frustrated trying to figure out what they should get
